A shirt in the wind
The rain stops.
On the washing line
a yellow shirt
fills with the wind.
Two wooden pegs
hold its shoulders.
Its sleeves lift,
then settle.
Another gust,
and both arms open.
From the kitchen window
it looks, for a moment,
like someone
glad to see me.
